Anyone need a technique?

Or how about this neat little trick i know!?!

I can not remember where i came up
w/this cool little trick using chipboard
(if i did……i might tell you;))!
What do you need…..
*chipboard(bare or not)
*a foam shape w/a flat bottom
*some sewing needles
*paint
*and your creativity!!!!

As you can see…. you take the chipboard
and place the sewing needle in the bottom
of it so it stands up in your foam piece!

Then, you’re ready to paint your chipboard
and not get your fingers dirty. Plus, you have
the added bonus of your chipboard not
sticking to whatever it is that you may have
it laying on to dry!
Just be sure to WATCH YOUR FINGERS!
You don’t want to bleed all over your chipboard!

Enjoy! Charity

CHA was the bomb!

Ever wondered what CHA would be like?

Well, we as a Design Team did too! And through the generousness
of our Store Owner’s,  Marlene and Rhonda….. we were de-virginized
to the world that is CHA !! meeting Becky Higgins
For all the “fresh meat” walking into the convention center, there is
a little tingle that runs up and down your spine! You are so pumped,
not only to see  ALL the new  scrapbooking  “paraphernalia” and the
enormous amount of layouts and projects made for the show……
you’re also pumped to see who may be lurking at any given minute!
Becky Higgins……..Tim Holtz(so cute)…….Elsie Flannigan…..
{our local  girl} Greta Hammond……Shannon Tidwell…….the very
sweet, funny and sassy  Vicki Boutin{you’d recognize her hair}….
just to name a few! There are Designers from every company along
with their representatives! The one that sticks out the most….
Fancy Pants! Two of their Designers are my fellow neighbors @
sb.com, Cindy Tobey and Amy Peterman(both from Michigan)!
It was a thrill to finally meet them face to face after seeing them
online for over a year! Did i also tell you, Fancy pants is coming out
with the same awesome chipboard designs in colored felt!?!

Not only do you get to look when you’re @ CHA…..you also get to
TOUCH.  There  are  a ton  of make-n-takes!  Every company
wants you to play with their new stuff! And it’s hard not to!
For example….Tim Holtz has these killer clear tiles! Okay, you
may be saying…..but, when he gives you the tiles and tells you
to glue them to the top of Basic Grey’s  new paper line, with this
clear glue that’s like butter! You say to yourself, “What have I
been missing?!” And then you go home with this adorable
decorated lunch box that’s to die for….. and can’t wait for the
new “paraphernalia” to start rolling in on the UPS truck to your
LSS!
@ the end of the day, we DT members were no longer “fresh meat.”
We were “day old bakery.” You can’t really classify us as veterans
until we’ve been @ it as long as Rhonda and Marlene! Cheers to you
girlz for being so dedicated, and making our scrapping and shopping
experience always one to remember!

Here we go!!!
