So…are you ready for another technique? I thought I’d run through the heat embossing techy w/you and give you something new to play with…..or just a refresher. Here’s what you need…..
*HEAT GUN
*EMBOSSING POWDER
*EMBOSSING PEN (or pad)
*SOMETHING TO EMBOSSS
I chose to do this adorable chipboard heart from Basic Grey. I wanted to do the backside of the heart b*c i had plans for the front! I used the embossing ink to cover the area i wanted embossing powder on. If you were using stamps, you would just stamp your image with the embossing ink right to the project.

After i covered the area with embossing ink, and then covered inked area in embossing powder…..i tap the extra powder back into the can and heat up the heart with the heat gun. Make sure you are not burning off the tips of your fingers!!!! Before the liquified powder dries you could add a few beads or glitter if you are looking for an extra UMPH!
You can see the heart project here…….
and here are some visuals on the embossed stamping mini ornaments i made for the festive Christmas trees we’ll have on display at the store! We got together and used our scraps to decorate the trees! it’s amazing what you can do with your tools and scrapbooking leftovers!!!

WOW! That is all I can say…
You will want to join us on Sunday November 4th, 2007 at Noon for the unveiling of the Creative Cafe’ Art Bar.
I spent the day unpacking and putting up the new products and they are so FUN, it is like
an old fashion candy store. You will pick just the right product and match it to a beautiful selection of papers and embellishments. With two color selection available you will have hundreds of ideas running through your head. And what’s best is that if you don’t have an idea… well that is where the art bar comes in. We will be featuring these products weekly in mini classes called ”happy hour”.
This Sunday we will be rolling out the details so stop in and see for yourselves just how fun this new line is.
