I’ve
been scrapbooking since 1997. I’ve always
loved to take pictures. For my 12th or 13th
birthday my sister gave me my first camera.
Then in high school I was in journalism for
a few years and really loved it. I was always
the girl with the camera and a story to tell.
When I graduated high school I took my graduation
money to buy a nice camera because I was going
to college for journalism. As life took its
course, a couple of years later, I switched
my college major, got married and quit working.
Fall of 1997 is when I attended a Creative
Memories party and have been hooked to scrapbooking
since!
I’ve been married to a wonderful guy
name Mike for ten years. We’ve lived
in Bremen, Indiana for almost three years now.
Though we have no kids, we have two dogs, Emmy
and Payton, who act as if they were our kids!
I like to play cards, but I usually get too
competitive. When I’m not scrapbooking
I love to play in my landscaping with my perennials.
I baby sit my nephew a couple of days a week
and figure my uncle’s book work for his
company one day. When I get to scrapbook I
usually listen to some sort of music (usually
country) or watch TV. My favorite shows are
Monk, Law and Order, CSI, King of Queens, and
House.
I am a BIG Nascar fan. I watch the races while
I scrap too. My favorite driver is Tony Stewart,
which makes my favorite color orange! I got
to meet him and get my picture taken with him
once in a secluded place in Lakeville, Indiana.
Did you know he has a pet monkey named after
me?
